It's nice to pass the talking stick over.

jade,

Looking at the perfect side has always meant to me: finding the joy in every moment. It's there, sometimes we just really have to work to see it.

tara,

That is the one of the blessings of family isn't it? Always knowing someone out there shares your special brand of crazy. As for the tea...no recollection.

anonymous former school mate,

It's so strange that we remember all of our friends, acquaintances, and -if we are unlucky enough to have them- enemies, from when we were all tormented with hormones and feeling the heavy burden of having all the answers to life! And everyone else's life as well!

And then we start to grow older, accumulate pains and call them wisdom, and suddenly we find we have more in common with each other than we could have ever known.

Whatever your journey, I pray that it will be good one for you.Aaron Paquettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07401418598802746504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6441112.post-1149570100411149672006-06-05T23:01:00.000-06:002006-06-05T23:01:00.000-06:00Aaron - I found your site quite by accident...I kn...Aaron - I found your site quite by accident...I knew you in a past life...think high school...and your writing still amazes me. The only difference is now maturity allows for me to relate much better to your words. Thank you for this post. It made a lot of sense to a girl trying to let go of a difficult few events in recent history (more recent than J.P.P.) and get away from the "what might have been" rearview thinking.

So thanks. (Your art is also brilliant btw...:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6441112.post-1146657816246076662006-05-03T06:03:00.000-06:002006-05-03T06:03:00.000-06:00Ahhhh. It's interesting that just when I start to feel noone understands where I'm coming from, I am reminded there are at least 4 others in this world who do. ie: My little bro, lol. Your ponderings and reflections are akin to my own Aaron, thank you for sharing them in writing. By the way, too bad you can't remember the name of that tea, maybe you could let me and Tav know exactly where you had it and one of us could go searching. Hmmmm? It does. We learn to cope with the pian, although we can't always stop it. And like yourself, getting out and letting nature heal me in the wide fields helps. It happens less often now, (touching wood), if it weren't for living in the country I'd be a lot worse. But out of that usually comes a burst of fresh ideas and energy - I don't know why it has to be this way - and sometimes I wish I could not feel this urge to create, just to feel 'normal'. But then - would I feel so moved by the tree tops swaying in the wind?

Sorry. this turned out to be a bit of a ramble. I just felt so much of what you wrote...Gretelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00399585879728373265noreply@blogger.com
