CBC is currently running a series on "The National" in which viewers suggest the stories that should be covered. One of the features last night focused on the Membertou Nation in Nova Scotia. Their's is a unique and refreshing success story! I don't know every angle of the issue, but the report on "The National" was extremely positive.

I'm working on paintings for the April show and have begun using natural objects on the canvasses. One in particular is making use of stones, twigs/branches, and leaves. It's looking good so far and there is a very good energy around it. We'll see how it turns out. One thing for certain, it feels extremely odd to wash stones in the kitchen sink...
