"Words Like Ashes" Reading

If you're like me, you don't often get out to a poetry reading. Well, here's a great chance:

Poets Ink!, is pleased to invite you to attend the launch of our book, Words Like Ashes.

Words Like Ashes is a collection of the work of five poets, resident in the greater St. Albert, Alberta area.

In his back cover notes, poet, novelist and author, Thomas Trofimuk says, “This is a fine collection – five poets firing full blast – from the sublime to the down-right bawdy, delivering a smorgasbord of poetic delight. This is a sutra of extraordinary voices engaged in the art of making poetry. These poems live and breathe and I shall revisit again and again and again and again!”

Please join us in our celebration for some tasty delights and beverages at the St. Thomas Café and Bistro, 44 St. Thomas Street, St. Albert from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm on May 3rd.

The St. Thomas Café is located 20 minutes from downtown Edmonton, north on the St. Albert Trail to St. Anne Street, turn left at the light, follow St. Anne through the next three traffic lights (short blocks), turn left on to St Thomas Street just past the Arden Theatre and go one block. The St. Thomas Café is on the corner on the right.

Copies of Words Like Ashes will be on sale that evening for $20.00 and all the authors will be in attendance, so you will have the opportunity to get a full set of signatures. In stores, Words Like Ashes will retail for $24.95.
