Buckminster Fuller once said:

“All children are born geniuses. 9,999 out of every 10,000 are swiftly, inadvertently, degeniused by grown ups.”

Just remember today, if nothing else, the genius you were as a child, and the genius that pours out of you now. Many people live and breathe each day telling themselves something quite different.

Don't believe it!

You are an incredible creation. You are alive. In this whole universe of stars and galaxies and nebulas and planets, you are a rarity. You are the dust of the cosmos brought to life with an inner fire. So small and so vulnerable, you carry in you the ability to imagine. You can create! Even if it is only a thought, a word, an idea that you hold, it is your creation and yours alone. No one will ever see the world quite the same way as you. No one will ever speak quite the same way as you.

You are unique, and you are beautiful.

You are a genius.

Thank you, Lorna!

I love coming by and looking at your Watercolours. I'm also very interested in seeing how your children's book develops...
